These scopes are oldies but goodies! These are Tektronix flagship workhorse oscilloscopes from back in the day. Generally speaking they are easy to support/fix and finding parts for them is pretty easy. With that said, I always recommend you purchase a working oscilloscope unless you know what you're doing and really like making a little extra work and hassle for yourself. These oscilloscopes were first designed and produced in the 1970's and cost about $1800 brand new. They made some versions of the 465 oscilloscope into the mid 1980's when it was finally discontinued. It's best to find the highest serial numbers possible to get a "newer" production model but more importantly, find a working used oscilloscope.

CURL error code = 28. (Operation timed out after 20001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received)

If the Tektronix 465 or 465A oscilloscope didn't suite your fancy we have several other o-scopes for you to consider. Most people find that these older scopes work great for the majority of their projects. However, with higher speed electronics, the 100Mhz bandwidth might not be sufficient. These are really great used scopes for anyone into HAM radio, robotics, or general circuit design.
